You must be 18 with a valid driver’s license.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
Our policy requires a 48 hour advance notice. On ‘special dates’, we require more advance notice.
Deer gun season stays are often longer stays thus requiring a 7 day advance cancellation notice.
Q: I will be traveling late. How late can I check in?

Q. Do you have Internet access?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi internet.
Q: How close are you to shopping, grocery store, etc?
Lake Forest Trading Post, convenience store/gas station is located across the road from us. Gas is available 24/7, convenience store is open generally from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the week with later hours on the weekend. For more shopping, we are midway between Crandon and Three Lakes, 15 minutes to both.
Q: Is there a bar or restaurant near you?
There are many restaurants and bars nearby; the closest being Pine Lake Pub, ¼ mile from us and Main Street Ed’s less than 10 minutes from us.
Q. Is there a liquor store near you?
Yes, the conv. store across the road has beer, liquor, and grocery/convenience items.
Q: Are you on a lake or what’s the closest lake to you?
1600 acre Pine Lake is ¼ mile south of us. Pine Lake is an excellent fishing and water sport lake; very family friendly. There is an excellent boat launch on Pine Lake located at the National Forest Campground. We 10 minutes from the Three Lakes Chain of Lakes; a chain of 26 lakes (the largest inland chain of lakes in the United States). Seven acre Little Pine Lake borders on the back edge of our property. Little Pine Lake is a beautiful tamarack surrounded lake with Loons, Bald Eagles and other wildlife.
Q: Do you allow smoking in the rooms?
There is absolutely no smoking in our guest rooms per Wisconsin statute.
Q: Is there a fine if I smoke in a guest room?
Yes, there is a fine of up to $250 if there is evidence of smoking in the room. Smoking in a room typically requires hiring a professional cleaning company to deodorize the room.
Q: Do you allow pets?
We have specific rooms that allow pets. Please advise us when making a reservation of your need for a ‘pet friendly’ room.
Q: Do you have a vending machines?
No, we do not have vending machines.
Q: Are there refrigerators in your guest rooms?
All rooms have at least a small refrigerator with some rooms having larger refrigerators
Q: Are there microwaves in your guest rooms? Yes
Q: Are there coffeemakers in your guest rooms? Yes, we provide complimentary coffee, cream and sugar with coffee makers in all rooms.
Q: Do you have grills we can use for grilling out?
We have grills, picnic tables, and a beautiful campfire area with complimentary firewood. We are on 10 acres with walking trails and adjoining Little Pine Lake.
Q: Do we need to bring our own linens or towels?
Linens and towels are provided. We also provide used towels/rags for snowmobile and ATV clean-up.
Q: Do you have a pool or hot tub?
Sorry, we do not, but Pine Lake is a sand-bottom clear lake with an excellent swimming beach.
Q. What season is best to visit
We are a year around destination offering a bounty of nature activities. Pine Lake has always been known as an excellent fishing lake; open water or ice fishing. Snowmobiling and ATVing offer hundreds of miles of beautiful trails through the Nicolet-Chequamegon National Forests. We sit at the junction of trails that literally go in any direction. And, of course, autumn, with its beautiful colors is extremely popular. Never miss an opportunity to visit us regardless of the season.
