From Your Hosts...

Well, old man winter is here again. And that                                     means it's time for winter sports like                              snowmobiling, ice  fishing, snowshoeing and                                    cross country skiing.
This should be a good year for snowmobilers. The weather forecast calls for above average snowfall this winter, which is good news compared to last year's season. So start planning your trips now, as we're already getting full on several weekends. And keep in mind we're located at the start of the Three Lakes trails, where you can ride up to the Eagle River area and even into the U.P.

The Hiles annual volunteer fire dept. ice fisheree is scheduled for Feb. 4. Should be a good time again this year. Plenty of prizes, food, refreshments and, of course, fish stories.

What is 'Up North?'

You may be familiar with the term 'Up North', but what exactly is it? 'Up North' is a state of mind.

It's getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's where the air you breathe is a little fresher, the trees more colorful...the sky bluer...and people smile alot more. It's where you feel your cares slip away and the world looks a little brighter.

Where is 'Up North?'

It's right here at the Little Pine!  It's waking up in the morning and hearing the majestic call of the loons. It's walking out your door and seeing the sun rise over beautiful pine trees. It's relaxing at night around a roaring campfire and gazing at the bright stars above. It's hiking, biking or ATVing in the scenic Nicolet National Forest and seeing more native wildlife than people. It's being on any number of area lakes surrounded by nature's beauty as you catch an abundance of fish. It's spending quality time with family and friends.

That's 'Up north'.

And you'll find it here at the Little Pine.

So we offer more than what a typical motel offers. We offer a simpler way of relaxation and fun! And at about the same nightly rate as your ordinary motel!!
